About Alleviate Foundation Alleviate Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (application pending) focused on strengthening the digital capacity of nonprofits and community-based organizations through access to tools, training, and volunteer-supported assistance. Role Overview We are seeking a skilled Volunteer Web Designer / Web Developer to help build a clean, professional, and accessible website for the Alleviate Foundation. This site will serve as our primary public presence and support fundraising, partnerships, and program visibility. Key Responsibilities Design and build a simple nonprofit website (4–5 pages) Implement agreed structure and branding Ensure mobile responsiveness and basic accessibility Collaborate with the Foundation leadership to incorporate content and feedback Deliver final site with handover documentation Core Pages Home Our Program Board & Leadership Get Involved / Contact Donate or Support page (placeholder pending 501(c)(3) approval) Required Skills Experience with WordPress, Webflow, Squarespace, or similar Strong design sense and attention to detail Ability to work independently and meet agreed timelines Experience with nonprofit or mission-driven projects is a plus What You’ll Gain Meaningful contribution to nonprofit capacity-building mission Portfolio credit and case study material LinkedIn recommendation upon successful completion Opportunity for ongoing involvement as digital volunteer (optional) Direct experience supporting a new foundation's launch How to Apply Interested?
