Hollings Cancer Center is preparing its application for NCI Comprehensive Cancer Center status-the highest level of recognition awarded by the National Cancer Institute. As we modernize our digital infrastructure to support this milestone, we are committed to adopting current technologies and building advanced, future-ready systems. With an expanding workload and a growing emphasis on modern web architecture, we are seeking a developer who can lead redesign efforts and support training initiatives focused on .NET Razor and Blazor frameworks.

Scope of the project:

The scope of work includes redesigning the organization's existing websites using modern .NET technologies, followed by performing all necessary technical tasks to migrate the current sites from legacy frameworks to Microsoft .NET 8.0 with Razor Pages or Blazor Pages. This engagement will span the full lifecycle of the project, including design, development, testing, production deployment, and ongoing maintenance, to deliver fully modernized and enhanced websites that meet the organization's long-term needs. Additionally, the Hollings Cancer Center staff will receive comprehensive training across all phases of the project, ensuring they are equipped to understand, support, and maintain the redesigned and updated web environments.

Daily Duties / Responsibilities:

Review and re-write current .ASPX (.NET 4.7 websites). Provide training on modern web development using .NET 8.0/10.0.
