SEO Specialist We are looking for a passionate and experienced SEO Specialist to join our team and drive the success of our Shopify and e-commerce initiatives. If you have a strong understanding of SEO best practices and a proven track record in e-commerce, we want to hear from you! Key Responsibilities: Design and implement innovative SEO strategies specifically for Shopify and other e-commerce platforms such as WooCommerce and BigCommerce. Conduct thorough keyword research, competitor analysis, and content gap audits to support the optimization of product pages and blog content. Enhance on-page elements including titles, meta descriptions, schema markup, and internal linking for product listings and landing pages. Collaborate with content, design, and development teams to integrate SEO best practices throughout site architecture and user experience. Continuously monitor and report on SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, and SEMrush. Identify and troubleshoot technical SEO issues, such as crawl errors and mobile usability problems, to improve site performance. Keep up-to-date with the latest algorithm updates and trends in e-commerce SEO to maintain a competitive advantage. Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of hands-on SEO experience with demonstrable success in e-commerce. Strong knowledge of Shopify SEO; familiarity with liquid templating is a plus. Experience with other platforms like Amazon Seller Central or WooCommerce is a valuable asset. Proficiency in utilizing SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, and Google Search Console. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to convert data into impactful strategies. Basic understanding of HTML/CSS; experience collaborating with developers is beneficial. Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities. Preferred: Experience in international SEO or managing multilingual stores. Familiarity with conversion rate optimization (CRO), paid search, or email marketing is a plus. Knowledge of schema markup and structured data specifically for e-commerce.
