Job Summary

Oaktree Funding is seeking an

Entry-Level Appraisal Team Representative

to support our Vendor Management and Appraisal operations. This role is responsible for assisting with the ordering, tracking, and coordination of appraisal services, maintaining communication with appraisal vendors, and ensuring service-level expectations are met throughout the loan lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities Assist with ordering residential appraisals through approved appraisal management companies (AMCs) and direct vendors Track appraisal orders from assignment through delivery, ensuring timelines and service-level agreements are met Communicate professionally with appraisal vendors regarding status updates, revisions, corrections, and escalations Review appraisal submissions for completeness and ensure required documentation is received Update and maintain accurate records within internal systems and LOS platforms Support vendor management initiatives, including performance tracking and issue resolution Coordinate with internal teams (processing, underwriting, closing) to resolve appraisal-related questions Escalate delays, quality concerns, or compliance issues to management as appropriate Assist with ad hoc administrative and reporting tasks related to appraisal operations Qualifications

Required:

High school diploma or equivalent Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) Preferred:

Prior experience in mortgage operations, appraisal coordination, or vendor management (not required) Familiarity with appraisal processes, AMCs, or real estate terminology Experience working in a loan origination system (LOS) or similar workflow platform Skills & Competencies

Detail-oriented with strong follow-through Professional communication and vendor-facing demeanor Ability to work independently and as part of a team Comfortable learning new systems and processes Strong problem-solving mindset
