Packaging/Carton Designer
RemoteVA is looking for a Packaging/Carton Designer with hands-on experience in structural design for folding cartons (chipboard boxes). This role is perfect for someone who thrives on precision, creativity, and technical expertise in packaging design. As a key part of our creative team, you will be responsible for designing packaging that is functional, brand-appropriate, and cost-efficient. Your work will be pivotal in helping our clients bring their products to market safely and stylishly. Responsibilities Design and develop folding carton structures to fit specific product dimensions and client requirements. Create dielines and 3D prototypes using ArtiosCAD or Cimex CAD Design. Collaborate with clients and production teams to ensure accurate specs and production readiness. Recommend box styles and materials based on product protection, cost-efficiency, and branding. Maintain organized project files and version control. Optimize structural design for manufacturability and assembly. Stay up to date with industry trends and materials.
