We are seeking an experienced Senior Functional Analyst with deep expertise in core banking platforms, particularly Client DNA, and a strong background in transaction processing. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in analyzing business requirements, designing functional solutions, supporting implementation efforts, and collaborating with technical teams to enhance and optimize core banking operations. This role requires exceptional analytical skills, strong communication abilities, and hands-on experience with financial services workflows.
Functional Analysis & Requirements Gathering • Lead requirements elicitation sessions with business stakeholders across retail, commercial, and digital banking. • Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications and user stories. • Perform gap analysis on existing Client DNA capabilities and propose enhancements. Client DNA Core Banking Expertise • Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) on Client DNA modules, including: o Account processing o Loan servicing o Deposit operations o Customer information file (CIF) o General ledger and reconciliation • Configure DNA parameters, create test scenarios, and validate system functionality. Transaction Processing & Operations • Analyze and optimize end-to-end transaction flows across ACH, wire transfers, ATM/POS, mobile/online transactions, and batch processing. • Troubleshoot production issues related to transaction posting, settlement, and exception handling. • Work with payment networks, clearing systems, and banking middleware interfaces. Project Delivery & System Enhancements • Collaborate with developers, QA analysts, architects, and third-party vendors to deliver system improvements. • Lead functional testing, UAT coordination, regression validation, and release support. • Ensure solutions align with compliance requirements (AML, KYC, Reg E, Reg CC). Documentation & Stakeholder Communication • Develop functional design documents (FDDs), process flows, BRDs, and operating procedures. • Provide training and support to operations teams and business users. • Communicate project status, risks, and impacts clearly to leadership teams.
