Farmington Valley Lifestyle Magazine (FV Lifestyle) is looking to expand. We are looking for a power networking, people-person who isn’t intimidated with either picking up the phone or meeting new people in person. This role is ideal for an ambitious, personable individual willing to invest in themselves and grow with the publication as it launches this spring (foundational role). FV Lifestyle is an expansion of City Lifestyle publications, with 9 CT based magazines already in CT, including two in nearby West Hartford and Glastonbury.

The successful Community Ambassador will build relationships and rapport within the Farmington Valley community, as well as support operational efficiency and business growth. This role starts part-time and typically involves 20-40 hours per month, with full-time expansion possible.

Key Responsibilities:

Prospecting & Appointment Setting:

Building a network of potential clients and setting up appointments for sales team.

Build relationships with local business owners

Meet in person within the community

Represent City Lifestyle in a professional, brand-forward way

Manage your own schedule and outreach, coordinating with publisher

Possible Expansion of Role to include:

Client Onboarding & Relationship Management:

Guiding new clients through onboarding, covering ad requirements, deadlines, and digital listing setup.

Ad List Management & Coordination:

Overseeing the ad list, ensuring timely and high‑quality submissions that meet all standards and deadlines.

Financial Operations:

Assisting with Accounts Receivable (AR) reports, addressing missed payments, and helping clients manage payments through the customer portal.

Customer Service & Support:

Acting as the primary point of contact for client inquiries.

Compensation:

Commission‑based with uncapped earning potential (5‑25%)

Once established, discussion of adding time and additional income benefits and opportunities will arise.
