Position Summary

Ensure Customer Satisfaction is achieved and maintained through exceptional equipment set-up, performance, and technical services. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role and is critical to successful relationship between CANPACK and our customers.

Essential Functions/Key Deliverables

• Qualify CANPACK 2-Piece Aluminum Cans and Ends at customer sites ensuring all specification are met through the applicable double seam equipment.

• Provide customers with professional service and expertise in resolution of any mechanical issues related to their double seam equipment.

• Support customers in resolution to packaging performance, quality, or field complaints.

• Carry out regular customer visits, complete line / product audits and make recommendations for improvement.

• Provide customer training on can handling and seams as required.

• Assist customers in establishing and executing appropriate maintenance and repair programs for their double seam equipment.

• Collaborate with all internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction is achieved.

Knowledge/Skills/Experience

• Associate degree, trade school or significant experience in a related/similar field

• Strong mechanical skills and ability to work through complex problems

• Strong communication skills through all levels internally and within customer organizations.

• Ability to develop strong relationships with customer personnel

• Ability to travel regionally up to 100%

• Basic computer skills and the ability create service reports / documentation as required
