Infosys is seeking a DevOps Lead Consultant - In this role you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design. You will play an important role in creating the high-level design artifacts. You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. At least 7 years of Information Technology experience. Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Richardson, TX or willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations. Candidates authorized to work for any employer in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship are welcome to apply. Infosys is unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this role currently. Experience in DevOps and hands-on experience in Openet / Mediation / Charging. Proven expertise in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks. Preferred Qualifications:
Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelinesfor on-prem and cloud platforms using industry-leading tools. Automate DevOps workflows across all phases of the delivery pipeline. Collaborate with Scrum teams to deploy and operate microservices-based applicationsin multiple environments, including production. Troubleshoot and resolve issuesacross on-prem and hybrid cloud environments, ensuring high availability and performance. Use monitoring tools to detect, diagnose, and resolve system events and alarms, focusing on eliminating recurring issues. Provide timely and informative follow-upon incident tickets and ensure SLA compliance. Drive continuous improvement in deployment processes, leveraging Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and immutable infrastructure principles. Advanced certifications in DevOps, Cloud technologies, or Kubernetes. Technical Skills CI/CD Tools: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI. Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP. Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet. Containerization & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes (AKS/EKS/GKE). Monitoring & Observability: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK stacks. Programming/Scripting: Python, Shell, Go. The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
