
Position: Business Intelligence & Reporting Analyst
Large Banking Client
Location: Remote
Rate: $40 - $45/hr depending on experience
Duration: 6+ month contract; Strong potential for extension
Overview
Our client in the banking domain is seeking a Business Intelligence & Reporting Analyst who will be responsible for executing the risk management framework through the identification and management of Key Risk Indicator (KRI), Key Performance Indicator (KPI), and Risk Appetite Statement (RAS) metrics.
The Analyst is responsible for developing, analyzing, reporting, and challenging metric data for Technology Infrastructure. They participate in initiatives and recommend opportunities for improved efficiency and effectiveness of risk identification through metrics. Those who desire to work as a BI analyst should demonstrate a strong understanding of managerial and professional skill sets. BI analysts are generally tasked with collaborating with a team of cross-departmental managers and are usually expected to be able to demonstrate leadership capabilities. They should also be well versed in many different aspects of business administration. Presentation skills are also a must as BI analysts are often expected to chair meetings discussing organizational data and future directions of the company. BI analysts should exhibit proficiency in many different Microsoft applications such as Word and Excel. It is also expected that analysts will naturally demonstrate superior creative thinking and decision-making abilities consistently in their work. Finally, analysts should be capable of working within a diverse, global workforce that is consumer oriented.
Key Requirements:
• 3-5 years of experience
• Key Risk Indicator (KRI), Key Performance Indicator (KPI), and/or Risk Appetite Statement (Ras) metric experience.
• Technology Infrastructure (e.g., Obsolescence, Vulnerability Patching, Storage Capacity, etc.)
• Quality Control or Risk Appetite Self-Assessment (RCSA) Testing
• Strong Excel Skills
• Excellent Verbal and Written Communication/Presentation Skills
Nice-to-Haves:
• PowerBI/PowerApps
• Bilingual in Spanish/English
