Job Overview
Our client, a hospitality and resort organization based in downtown Denver, is seeking a
very senior-level Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) Consultant
for a short-term, high-impact engagement. The consultant will play a key role in supporting and optimizing an existing D365 F&O implementation in a
multi-currency environment , working closely with Finance and Accounting stakeholders. This role requires hands-on expertise, strong communication skills, and the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support
D365 Finance & Operations (F&O)
implementation, optimization, or stabilization efforts Provide expertise in
multi-currency financial configurations , accounting structures, and financial reporting Collaborate closely with
Finance and Accounting teams
to align system functionality with business processes Support system enhancements, integrations, and issue resolution Utilize
DevOps (Azure DevOps)
for release management, deployments, issue tracking, and documentation Advise on best practices related to financial controls, compliance, and system performance Participate in stakeholder meetings, working sessions, and executive-level discussions as needed Travel to Denver occasionally for onsite workshops or critical meetings (if required)
Required Qualifications
Extensive hands-on experience implementing
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) Proven experience working in a
multi-currency and complex financial environment Strong background partnering with
Finance and Accounting teams Experience using
Azure DevOps
or similar tools for change management and deployments Ability to work independently and deliver results in a short-term consulting engagement Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in
hospitality, resort, travel, or similar service-based industries Prior experience in advisory or senior consulting roles Experience supporting post-implementation optimization or remediation efforts
