Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior IT Specialist to serve as the hands-on systems administrator and local support resource for our organization. This role focuses on Microsoft cloud administration (Azure AD, Intune, Office 365), endpoint management, and Tier 2 escalation support for issues beyond our MSP's scope. You will work closely with the IT Infrastructure Manager to execute infrastructure initiatives, maintain IT assets, and ensure reliable day-to-day operations.

Roles & Responsibilities Administer Microsoft cloud environments including Azure AD, Intune, and Office 365-user lifecycle, conditional access policies, device compliance, and license management. Manage Group Policy and Intune deployment profiles to ensure consistent endpoint configuration across all devices. Own Tier 2 escalation queue for tickets requiring physical intervention, hardware replacement, or direct follow-up with ISPs and vendors. Execute endpoint imaging, deployment, and configuration for new hires, refreshes, and replacements. Maintain accurate IT asset inventory across all locations; manage ready-to-ship device staging for rapid deployment. Support telephony moves, adds, and changes; maintain phone inventory and extension assignments. Administer SharePoint sites-permissions, structure, storage-and build Power Automate workflows for common IT and business processes. Publish and maintain SOPs, knowledge base articles, and intranet forms to enable self-service and reduce repeat escalations. Coordinate with MSP on ticket handoffs, closure validation, and escalation procedures. Support DR/BCP testing and execution under direction of IT Infrastructure Manager. Requirements

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or endpoint management. Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 administration-Azure AD/Entra ID, Intune, conditional access, and license management. Solid foundation in Windows endpoint management, imaging, and Group Policy. Working knowledge of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, VLANs, basic firewall concepts). Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow preferred) and MSP coordination. Familiarity with SharePoint administration and Power Automate a plus. Relevant certifications preferred: CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications (AZ-900, MS-900, MD-102). Local to DFW metroplex; able to travel to branch locations as needed. Physical Requirements

Ability to sit for extended periods while performing desk-related tasks. Proficiency in using office equipment such as computers, printers, and phones Ability to see and read computer screens and printed documents clearly Ability to communicate effectively in person and via phone Ability to lift and carry items up to 20 lbs Ability to maintain focus and productivity during long periods of work. Ability to work in a standard office environment
