
Move Redmond is a 501(c)(4) non‑profit Transportation Management Association proudly serving Redmond, Washington. We advocate for better streets, trails, and transit to make the city more accessible and inclusive. Redmond will be a more livable community through investments in walking, biking, and transit that enable people to get where they need to go without a car. We do this with an intersectional approach focusing on collaboration, equity, sustainability, policy, and funding.
About Position Move Redmond is seeking a Business Outreach Specialist for a term‑limited, temporary position that begins on the date of hire and continues through June 2027, with the potential to extend the position if more funding is secured.
This role will focus on building and delivering a new business outreach program focused on two priority initiatives. The first is expanding awareness and adoption of ORCA Business Passport amongsmall businesses, with a particular emphasis on women- and minority‑owned businesses in Redmond.The second project supports a Shared Parking Pilot program by identifying and coordinating shared parking opportunities that better support Redmond businesses, employees, residents, and visitors.
This is a relationship‑driven, community‑facing role that will involve setting up and attending in‑person meetings with businesses across Redmond. Employees will also be expected to support other Move Redmond events and initiatives, such as our Open Streets Festival and community events. Our small team works collaboratively and supports each other as whole people. We also love to have fun riding transit or bicycles together!
Required Qualifications
Background in community engagement,business outreach, or related work
Ability to work in‑person, with some availability for evening and weekends
A passion for transportation, mobility, or community development
Self‑motivated and able to manage schedule independently
Desired Qualifications
Bilingual in one of the following languages: Simplified Chinese, Russian, Spanish or Tagalog
Experience in sales

Compensation
Annual salary of $70,000 – $73,000
Paid time off, plus two annual office closures for the week before Labor Day and the week between Christmas and New Years
Short‑and long‑term disability, retirement plan with 3% match
Flexible scheduling and work schedule, both remote and in person work
