Become a vital part of Zoom's defense against cyber threats as a Cybersecurity Operations Analyst. In this exciting role, you'll investigate and respond to cybersecurity events, ensuring the protection of our digital environment. Your working hours will be from 08:00 AM to 6:00 PM EST, either Sunday to Wednesday or Wednesday to Saturday.
About Your Future Team
The Detection and Response (D&R) team strives to secure Zoom's systems, safeguarding the information of our customers, partners, and employees. This team actively employs both proactive and reactive measures to identify business risks and counteract potential threats. The D&R team includes specialists in Cyber Threat Intelligence, Security Logging, Detection Engineering, the Security Operations Center, and Incident Response.
Your Key Responsibilities
Investigate and triage cybersecurity events across Zoom's environment, identifying root causes and assessing implications.
Work alongside experienced D&R team members to enhance your investigation and technical skills.
Provide critical support and expertise during cybersecurity incidents.
Contribute to the development and execution of processes to improve Zoom's monitoring, detection, and response capabilities.
Manage and escalate reported security events following Zoom's incident response protocols.
Support threat containment and remediation efforts during and after cybersecurity incidents.
Stay informed about the global threat landscape working together with Zoom's Threat Intelligence team.
What We Are Seeking 0 - 1 year of experience in a Security Operations Center or Incident Response position.
At least 2 years in a technical role (such as IT, Networking, or Engineering).
Familiarity with security monitoring within a Security Operations Center or Cyber Fusion Center.
A natural curiosity and a methodical investigative approach, with a strong desire to learn and grow.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Salary Information The salary range for this position is $73,300 - $169,500. Starting pay will be determined based on your qualifications and experience, along with our location-based compensation structure.
