Overview
Since our founding in 1955, we have worked alongside the cystic fibrosis community to transform a genetic disease in a generation. Great Strides is the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's largest fundraising effort. Families, friends, and community members come out to walk for a cure. Every site needs volunteers to make it work. Choose one shift or stay all day.
Responsibilities
Assist with setting up tents and tables, hanging banners, and putting up signs.
Check in walkers and distribute shirts, food, and prizes.
Cheer on teams and provide support to vendors.
Help with breaking down and cleaning up at the end of the event.
Volunteer Needs / Schedule
7:00 AM – 9:00 AM (Set up: tents, tables, decor)
9:00 AM – 11:30 AM (Check in walkers; finish celebration: hand out food, prizes, activity packets; cheer squad; assist vendors)
11:30 AM – 12:30 PM (Break-down and cleanup – biggest need)
