COMPENSATION: $34-48 hourly depending on experience (value of total compensation $41-$55 hourly)
EXPERIENCE: 5+ years of frame-to-finish residential carpentry experience
LOCATION: Job sites (mostly owner-occupied single-family homes) around the metro Boston area
SUMMARY Byggmeister is a worker-owned, woman-led design-build remodeling firm striving to be an exemplary steward of Boston area homes. We are looking for an experienced residential carpenter to supervise and work alongside our field crew in producing beautiful, durable, environmentally responsible renovations.
Our project development team will set you up for success with fully designed and specified project plans, while our production manager will ensure that you have the resources and the support you need to complete your projects on time, on budget and to the clients’ satisfaction.

WHO YOU ARE
Has strong residential carpentry skills and experience with all phases of residential construction (frame-to-finish)
Has strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
Brings positive energy, takes on all tasks with enthusiasm, works well with a wide range of people, and is a team player
Can read and understand construction documents
Effectively uses cloud-based communication and project management tools
Is familiar with high-performance construction (or has a desire to learn)
Has a Construction Supervisor’s License, or is committed to getting one
Has supervisory experience
Embraces continuous learning
Always maintains personal and jobsite safety
Must have reliable transportation to work sites around the Boston area
