Job Duties
Installing piping AirNet aluminum piping, standard galvanized and other threaded or flanged piping.
Modify, clean, and maintain pipe systems, units, fittings, and related machines and equipment, following specifications and using hand and power tools.
Installer/Piping Technician will look at blueprints, drawings, or pictures and understand how they would look as solid objects with height, width, or depth.
Use hands and arms easily and skillfully; work within precise limits or standards of accuracy; and rate information using standards which can be measured or checked.
Perform routine, preventative maintenance and repairs on oil-injected and oil-free air compressors, following manufacturer recommendations and scheduled scope. Prior to and following maintenance, test and document operating parameters.
Promote and practice proper safety procedures and correct use of personal protective equipment at all times.
Serve as a brand ambassador, providing exceptional customer service, responding to customer needs, and working to satisfy expectations in a timely manner.
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent; technical training in electrical, hydraulics, and/or pneumatics preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of strong mechanical experience.
Experience in HVAC is a plus; compressor experience strongly desired.
Valid Driver's License required.
Ability to work independently with strong self-management and professionalism.
Ability to complete work within assigned deadlines.
Computer proficiency for communication, research, and work orders.
Must be able to read and write in English.
Should lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis and work in industrial environments with extremes in temperature, continuous walking, reaching, bending, and kneeling.
Some overnight travel required.
