
The Social Media Specialist supports the execution of the brand's social media strategy across multiple platforms, helping to enhance brand awareness, deepen audience engagement, and maintain a polished and consistent digital presence. This role focuses on content creation, publishing, analytics reporting, community management, and influencer/UGC coordination.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in developing and maintaining the monthly social media content calendar.
Draft and design posts for platforms including Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), TikTok, and Pinterest.
Submit all content for approval via a social media management platform (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, or similar).
Support the creation of social content in alignment with brand voice, aesthetic, and campaign goals.
Schedule and publish approved posts across all social platforms.
Conduct light photo/video editing for digital and social use.
Manage brand presence on YouTube and other video delivery platforms, including video uploads, playlist curation, and thumbnail/metadata optimization
Monitor social media performance and assist in analyzing key metrics (engagement rate, reach, follower growth, CTR, etc.).
Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions across all social media channels in a timely, on-brand manner.
Engage with followers to foster community and maintain brand presence.
Monitor and respond to reviews on Cruise Critic and Google Reviews as needed, following internal guidelines.
Track influencer partnerships and ensure contracted content is posted as agreed.
Manage internal sharing and amplification of influencer and user-generated content (UGC).
Ensure proper rights and permissions have been obtained for all UGC before repurposing on brand-owned social channels.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS DEGREE TYPE Bachelor's Degree
FIELD(S) OF STUDY Communications, Advertising, Marketing, Business or Public Relations or any equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
EXPERIENCE Minimum 3 years of experience supporting consumer-focused social media programs within a social media agency, media company, or luxury brand, with at least 1-2 years of direct experience managing social media platforms, content production, analytics reporting, and customer engagement initiatives. Familiarity with video editing and production suites is preferred.
COMPETENCIES/SKILLS
Must possess strong organizational skills, a customer-oriented mindset, and a positive attitude.
Strong creative writing abilities for social media and responsive digital platforms.
Some multimedia content creation background with intermediate experience in tools such as Photoshop, Premiere Pro, CapCut, Canva, and other video editing suites.
Fluency in English, bi-lingual a plus.
Experience working within an agency or media company environment.
An innovative and creative thinker with the multimedia content marketing skills needed to support and champion a global social engagement program.
