Kiferbaum Development Group (KDG) is a Chicago-based real estate development and investment company specializing in ground-up multifamily and mixed-use projects. We provide in-house construction and property management services. We are seeking a motivated Leasing Associate to support a growing residential and commercial property management portfolio in Chicago. This role is primarily focused on leasing and showings, with additional support across day-to-day property operations. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys being out in the field, working directly with prospects and residents, and wants a role that is primarily focused on leasing with exposure to property management duties. You’ll work closely with an experienced property manager in a collaborative, fast-moving environment. Primary Responsibilities (Leasing Focus ~70%)

Coordinate and conduct apartment showings Post and manage listings on MLS and AppFolio Respond to inquiries from prospects and cooperating agents Schedule showings and manage lockboxes and access Communicate with cooperating agents throughout the leasing process Assist with rental applications and documentation Send application links and collect required materials (AppFolio, Snappt, etc.) Prepare application summaries for internal review Send move-in letters and assist with tenant onboarding Secondary Responsibilities (Operations Support – ~30%)

Assist with move-in and move-out coordination Conduct move-out inspections using provided checklists Walk units prior to move-in to confirm readiness Assist with account payables and billing items Help maintain organization of keys, lockboxes, and supplies Provide general operational and office support as needed Requirements

Reliable personal vehicle for showings and site visits Strong communication and organizational skills Comfortable working independently in the field Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities Strong computer skills; experience with Microsoft Office and AppFolio preferred Comfortable using a smartphone to manage email, texts, and work orders Preferred Qualifications

Previous leasing or property management experience Familiarity with the Chicago rental market Experience coordinating vendors or maintenance requests Work Location

In person, with time split between field work (showings and site visits) and office coordination.
