Worship and Student Minister Full-Time Anchor Church is looking for a Worship and Student Minister to join our team and help us see lives changed by the Gospel. This is a great fit for a relational, hardworking, and passionate leader who loves people, is ready to learn, and wants to shape both corporate worship and student discipleship in ways that matter.
About the Role You’ll primarily provide leadership in two key areas of church life:
Worship Ministry: Lead and plan Christ-centered and emotionally engaging worship services alongside the Lead Pastor. You’ll lead congregational singing, work with musicians and A/V volunteers, and help shape a worship culture that’s thoughtful, exciting, and heartfelt.
Student Ministry (Grades 6–12): Shepherd and disciple students through weekly gatherings, biblical teaching, relational ministry, and partnership with parents. The goal is to help students grow in their faith and become woven into the life of the church.
You’ll also recruit, train, and care for volunteers, collaborate with the rest of our staff, coordinate church communications and outreach initiatives, and help build a culture of service, growth, and faithfulness in both ministries.
Who We’re Looking For We’re looking for a man of strong Christian character who loves Jesus and the local church, connects well with people, and brings consistent effort to everything he does. You should have the musical ability to lead congregational worship with confidence and humility, a teachable and adaptable spirit, and a heart that values faithful excellence.
Formal education and extensive ministry experience are welcome but not required. We care more about character, diligence, humility, and musical skill. You’ll work directly with our Lead Pastor, who has experience in both worship and student ministry and is committed to hands‑on training and development. We’re not looking for someone who has it all figured out but for the right person to grow with us.
