Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute sales strategies to increase room revenue, group bookings, and event sales
Identify, prospect, and secure new corporate, group, and leisure accounts
Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients through regular communication and site visits
Prepare and negotiate contracts, rates, and proposals in line with hotel policies
Conduct hotel tours for prospective clients and event planners
Collaborate with marketing, revenue management, and operations teams to align sales efforts
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing strategies
Achieve or exceed monthly and annual sales targets
Attend trade shows, networking events, and industry functions as required
Maintain accurate sales records, forecasts, and reports using CRM and PMS systems
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)
Proven experience in hotel sales, hospitality sales, or a related role
Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
Excellent relationship-building and customer service abilitiesAbility to work independently and manage multiple accounts simultaneously
Proficiency in CRM systems, hotel PMS, and Microsoft Office
Knowledge of local market dynamics and hospitality trends
Work Environment
Combination of office-based work and on-site client meetings
May require evenings, weekends, and travel for events or client entertainment
Performance Metrics
Revenue growth and achievement of sales targets
Occupancy and average daily rate (ADR) improvement
Client retention and satisfaction
Accuracy of forecasting and reporting
