You will be responsible for effectively selling the public space, food, and beverage, and function planning services of the hotel to maximize revenues and profits for the hotel. Position Summary

The Catering Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth and bringing new business from prospects by introducing and establishing the property’s catering department as the preferred catering and events location. Essential Job Functions

Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times Meet or exceed budgeted catering sales goals Accurately forecast catering revenues for the following month Analyze short-term fluctuations and direct selling activities to maximize revenues Prepare catering sales plan for the following year Produce sales department reports in a timely manner Targets group/catering accounts, markets, or segments with heavy emphasis on proactive solicitation and account saturation Use company-wide tools, systems and applications without exception Identifies, qualifies and solicits new group/catering business to achieve personal and property revenue goals Know which accounts and/or market segments produce effective catering business for the property and how to balance them to maximize revenues. Perform displacement analysis for groups or accounts as needed Know SWOT of property and competitive set Demonstrate commitment to superior guest service through personal response to guest needs Conduct site visits, coordinating with all departments for event spaces Experience and Education

Minimum one year sales experience in hospitality or catering manager experience Experience with Delphi FDC or Sales Pro Experience with brand's PMS and sales related applications Proficient in Microsoft 365 or similar computer applications Minimum High school diploma, GED or equivalent Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Culinary Arts, Marketing or related field preferred Equal Opportunity Employer
