Job Summary Safar Staffing is hiring friendly, dependable Retail & Customer Service Associates to support businesses across Minnesota in delivering exceptional customer experiences. This role involves assisting customers, managing sales transactions, maintaining store appearance, and ensuring smooth daily operations. The ideal candidate is personable, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced retail environment where customer satisfaction is the top priority.
Greet customers warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
Operate cash registers, process payments, handle refunds, and manage transactions accurately
Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and maintain attractive product displays
Assist with merchandising, including setting up promotional displays and seasonal arrangements
Answer customer questions about products, pricing, store policies, and availability
Help customers locate items, make purchasing decisions, and resolve concerns professionally
Manage fitting rooms, monitor product returns, and process exchanges according to store policy
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment always
Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs to supervisors
Follow loss prevention procedures and ensure store security protocols are maintained
Support store management and team members with daily tasks, special projects, and sales events
Uphold company standards and represent the brand with professionalism and enthusiasm
Requirements
Previous retail, customer service, or cashier experience preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first attitude
Ability to handle cash, process transactions, and operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately
Professional appearance and positive, approachable demeanor
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality service
Comfortable standing, walking, and performing physical tasks for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 25–30 lbs (restocking, moving merchandise)
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to assist wherever needed
