About the Role
We are seeking a talented and reliable Video Editor to join our team and work directly with Ross Givens, editing daily long-form YouTube content and short-form clips. This role is ideal for someone who understands pacing, storytelling, and platform-specific editing—especially YouTube and YouTube Shorts.
This is an in-office position based in Fairhope, Alabama, and candidates must be able to commute daily.
Primary Responsibilities
Edit daily long-form YouTube videos for Ross Givens’ channel
https://www.youtube.com/c/RossGivensCreate engaging YouTube Shorts from long-form content as part of regular duties
Enhance videos with cuts, pacing, graphics, captions, sound effects, and music where appropriate
Maintain consistent branding, style, and tone across all content
Collaborate with the content team to meet daily deadlines
Organize and manage video files and assets efficiently
Requirements
Ability to commute to and work in-office in Fairhope, Alabama
Proven experience as a Video Editor
Portfolio required demonstrating editing skill, pacing, and storytelling ability
Proficiency with professional editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar)
Strong understanding of YouTube content and short-form video best practices
Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
Experience editing content for YouTube creators or influencers
Familiarity with YouTube Shorts and audience engagement strategies
Basic knowledge of motion graphics, captions, or thumbnail coordination
Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: $70,000–$75,000 per year, based on experience
