Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Conover, NC. The Sales Engineer will be responsible for building and maintaining customer relationships, identifying client needs, and recommending appropriate products or solutions. Key duties include providing technical support, preparing proposals, participating in sales presentations, and collaborating with engineering and production teams. The Sales Engineer will focus on meeting sales targets and ensuring customer satisfaction while staying aligned with PSI’s mission to deliver high-quality solutions that drive efficiency for clients. Qualifications
Strong technical knowledge in polymer processing, melt filtration, and extrusion equipment Proficiency in sales strategies, account management, and client relationship building Ability to interpret technical specifications, prepare proposals, and conduct product presentations Background in engineering, mechanical systems, or related discipline Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills Proficiency in using relevant technological tools and software Willingness to travel regionally and/or internationally as required Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; prior experience in a Sales Engineer role is a plus
