Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the

Recruitment Specialist

will focus on talent acquisition by evolving and managing full-cycle, high-volume recruitment and the associated processes. They will have a wide range of experience and a passion for developing and executing inclusive hiring strategies. Additionally, it is crucial that this Recruitment Specialist has experience nurturing relationships with prospective talent, managing connections with external diverse partners, and establishing relationships with new partners. They will be a part of a larger HR team focused on providing excellent levels of service to all JCC Chicago departments.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage full-cycle, high-volume recruitmen

Design and execute inclusive recruiting strategies to attract and hire diverse talen

Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines through long-term relationships with candidates, community partners, and external organization

Cultivate and expand collegiate partnerships through job fairs, virtual events, and outreach to position JCC Chicago as an employer of choic

Partner closely with hiring managers and HRBP’s to develop innovative sourcing strategies and fill roles efficientl

Source, screen, interview, and close candidates while delivering a timely and positive candidate experienc

Utilize and enhance ATS reporting and analytics to deliver insights on recruiting trends and workforce forecastin

Ensure accountability, consistency, and transparency throughout the recruiting proces

Conduct regular check-ins with hiring managers to address current and anticipated hiring need

Collaborate with leadership, community organizations, and internal partners to strengthen recruitment partnership

In partnership with the Director of Human Resources, develop recruiting plans with clear deliverables, timelines, and accountabilit

Support the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of equitable and inclusive recruitment policies and practice

Maintain strong knowledge of employment laws and compliance requirements to mitigate ris

Manage recruiting resources and budget while leveraging job boards, social media, referrals, and DEI-focused sourcing strategie

Handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretio

Full time with extensive travel throughout JCC Chicagoland locat

Compensation Salary Range: $50,000 - $65,000 (commensurate with exp

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and expe

Working knowledge of federal, state, and local employme

Experience:1–5 years of experience in full-cycle, high-volume re

cruiting. Applicant Tracking System (ATS) experience strongly p

motivated. Highly organized with the ability to prioritize effectively, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced env

ironment. Expertise using data and analytics to optimize recruiting strategies, influence leaders, and assess market trends.

Strong leadership, collaboration, and creative thinking skills, with clear and effective written commu

nication. Deep knowledge of the Chicago metro and suburban areas with an established talent network.

Working knowledge of federal, state, EEOC, and nondiscriminat

ion laws. Experience developing and advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives and

training. Excellent communication skills with a collaborative, service-oriented

approach. Approachable, trustworthy, and able to maintain strict confide

ntiality. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and Sh
