Position Overview As an Operations Relationship Specialist, you will be responsible for strengthening the service experience for mutual fund customers, financial advisors, and institutional trading partners. Partners with service providers and cross-functionally within the Operations Department to produce an exceptional client experience. Provides oversight of service providers and other vendors to ensure service level agreements are being met or exceeded, recognize trends, resolve systemic issues and drive procedural improvements. Flexibility learning new responsibilities related to department needs and functions.

Responsibilities

Enhance relationships with key service providers, vendors, customers, financial advisors, and wholesaling staff.

Provide timely support for portfolio managers, including working with institutional trading partners, monitoring as-of trading activity as well as any resulting fund impact.

Act as a resource to fully resolve escalated customer and financial advisor service issues; perform root cause analysis, communicating resolution and taking action toward service recovery.

Perform oversight of service providers based on operational guidelines and procedures related to responsibilities such as the year-end shareholder tax reporting process, direct business trade functions, fund pricing and distributions, and cash control.

Provide appropriate information to the Operations Management team regarding potential servicing issues.

Support internal and external audits; complete research requests from Transamerica's Legal and Compliance teams with an increased attention to detail and strong degree of precision.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience.

Two years of mutual fund or relationship/vendor management experience.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Ability to establish and positively influence business relationships.

Proficient using MS Office products.

Preferred Qualifications

Broad understanding of the mutual fund landscape.

Familiarity with service provider products and recordkeeping platforms.

Please note that the compensation information that follows is a good faith estimate for this position only and is provided pursuant to applicable pay transparency and compensation posting laws. It is estimated based on what a successful candidate might be paid in certain Company locations.

The hourly wage for this position generally ranges between $24 - $27 per hour. This range is an estimate, based on potential qualifications and operational needs. The hourly wage may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.

Additionally, the position is typically eligible for an Annual Bonus based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance and is at the Company’s discretion.
