The Role
Plansight is hiring a Senior Business Development Executive to lead and own our technology partnership strategy. This role is 100 percent focused on building revenue-generating partnerships with employee benefits and insurance technology companies. The primary objective is to secure commercial partnerships where Planfacts AI is embedded directly into partner platforms, enabling their customers to instantly ingest structured plan data rather than manually entering it. This is a senior, externally facing role that requires strong technical fluency, credibility with executive stakeholders, and the ability to clearly articulate why partnering is often more effective than building internally. Key Responsibilities
Own the technology partnership pipeline from target identification through contract execution Build and manage relationships with senior leaders at benefits and insurance technology companies Clearly communicate the value of embedding Planfacts AI, including API based integrations and workflow impact Lead partnership discussions covering commercial structure, integration approach, and go-to-market alignment Work closely with product and engineering teams to support integration planning and partner success Drive measurable partnership-sourced revenue Represent Plansight at industry events, meetings, and strategic discussions Ideal Background
We recognize this is a narrow profile and are intentionally targeting a senior candidate with depth rather than volume. The ideal candidate will have: Senior-level experience in business development, partnerships, or strategic sales within B2B software Strong comfort explaining APIs, integrations, and technical workflows to non-technical stakeholders Experience selling or partnering with technology companies rather than end customers only A clear understanding of why and when companies choose to outsource core functionality versus build internally Familiarity with the employee benefits, insurance, or benefits technology ecosystem is strongly preferred Executive presence and the ability to operate independently with minimal oversight Why This Role Matters
