
Our client, a fast-growing clean skincare brand launching with a major national retailer, is looking for a Social Media Marketing Associate to join their marketing team.
Responsibilities Content Creation and Social Posting
Create and publish short-form video content across TikTok (primary), Instagram, and YouTube
Produce engaging content that reflects current trends, often in a casual, day-in-the-life style
Participate in filming and be comfortable occasionally appearing on camera as a brand representative
Edit content using standard mobile apps (no special software required)
Community Management
Respond to comments and DMs in an on-brand tone
Monitor platform engagement and trends to stay culturally relevant
Actively engage with followers and related communities to grow brand presence
Work closely with the marketing team to align messaging and creative direction
Use in-office filming space as needed (located near SoHo)
Participate in brainstorms and content planning sessions
Qualifications
1–3 years of experience in a content creation or social media role (brand or agency)
Experience in beauty is not required; fashion, lifestyle, or youth culture backgrounds are welcome
Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels, and user-generated content best practices
Demonstrated ability in community management and audience engagement
Highly self-motivated and comfortable in a fast-paced, lean environment
Creative, adaptable voice that resonates with Gen Z parents and Gen Alpha audiences
Willingness to appear on camera and work collaboratively with internal content creators
Hybrid schedule: In-office Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday
Location: SoHo, New York City
