Job Description The Farm Manager at Twin Farms oversees the daily operations of our one-acre farm, which supplies fresh produce, herbs, eggs, and honey for the resort’s culinary program. This role is central to our farm-to-table philosophy and requires a hands‑on leader who values sustainability, craftsmanship, and thoughtful collaboration with culinary and hospitality teams.

The ideal candidate brings deep agricultural knowledge, a respect for traditional farming practices, and a genuine interest in sharing the story of the farm with guests.

Expected Start Date April 1st, 2026

Key Responsibilities Farm Operations & Livestock Management

Plan and manage seasonal crops, herbs, and flowers in close collaboration with the culinary team

Maintain soil health, irrigation systems, pest control, and sustainable growing practices

Oversee daily care and management of farm animals, including:

Chickens: egg production, feeding, health monitoring, and coop maintenance

Pigs: feeding, health checks, and pasture management

Bees (Apiary): hive maintenance, honey harvesting, and overall bee health

Ensure all harvested products meet Twin Farms’ quality standards for kitchen use

Uphold ethical, humane, and environmentally responsible livestock practices

Team Leadership & Training

Lead, mentor, and schedule a team of three farm staff

Provide hands‑on training in sustainable farming and animal husbandry

Foster a positive, collaborative, and productive work environment

Guest Engagement & Education

Host farm tours and seasonal guest experiences

Share insights into farming practices, animal care, and the role of the farm in Twin Farms’ culinary philosophy

Collaborate with the Food & Beverage team on farm-to-table experiences, beekeeping demonstrations, and interactive programming

Support special events such as farm dinners and chef‑led experiences

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in farm management, ideally within a small‑scale or hospitality‑focused setting

Strong knowledge of organic farming practices, livestock care, beekeeping, and sustainability

Experience managing and mentoring a small team

Ability to collaborate effectively with culinary and hospitality professionals

Comfortable engaging with guests and communicating the story of the farm

Organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Compensation: $25 – $30 per hour
