Role Overview Are you ready to grow your public relations career in an agency environment where strategy, creativity, and execution intersect? As a PR Account Executive , you will be a key contributor on client accounts, supporting the development and execution of integrated public relations and communications programs.
This role is ideal for a proactive communicator who thrives in a fast-paced, idea-driven setting and enjoys turning strategy into compelling stories that earn attention, build credibility, and drive results.
Key Responsibilities Client & Communications Support
Support day-to-day client communications and account coordination
Help translate client goals into PR strategies, messaging, and tactical plans
Prepare materials for client meetings, updates, and presentations
Media Relations & Storytelling
Draft press releases, media pitches, bylined articles, messaging documents, and other PR content
Research, build, and maintain media lists across relevant industries and outlets
Support media outreach, interview coordination, and follow-up
Monitor media coverage and news trends to identify proactive opportunities
Program Execution & Measurement
Execute PR initiatives across earned and owned channels as part of integrated campaigns
Track coverage, compile reports, and analyze results against campaign objectives
Maintain strong attention to detail across all deliverables and timelines
Collaborate with internal teams (account, creative, digital, media) to ensure cohesive execution
Support team members and contribute positively to team culture
Stay informed on PR, media, and industry trends to bring fresh ideas to the table
Qualifications & Experience We’re looking for a motivated communicator with 2–3 years of relevant experience
(agency experience preferred) and a strong foundation in public relations.
Bachelor’s degree in public relations, communications, journalism, marketing, or a related field
Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills
Understanding of media relations, pitching, and news cycles
Confident verbal communication and client-facing skills
Strong organizational and project management abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Experience with media monitoring and reporting tools (e.g., Cision, Meltwater, Muck Rack, Brandwatch, or similar)
Familiarity with social media as part of an integrated PR strategy is a plus, but not the primary focus
Proactive mindset, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn
