The Opportunity This is a high-impact, quota-carrying role in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with
uncapped earning potential . The ideal candidate is based in
New York or New Jersey, or within an easy commute to New York City , and has a strong track record of closing enterprise deals.
What You’ll Do
Own and grow a portfolio of enterprise accounts within your assigned region
Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities
Apply a value-based sales methodology (e.g., MEDDIC/MEDDPICC) to drive deal success
Build strong executive-level relationships and act as a trusted advisor
Develop and execute strategic account and territory plans
Partner with sales engineering, marketing, and customer success to deliver winning solutions
Deliver presentations and product demonstrations to drive demand and expansion
Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasts, and account data in Salesforce
Stay current on market trends and competitive landscape
Represent Checkmarx at select industry events and trade shows
Travel as needed within the region
Requirements
Proven success selling SaaS, subscription, or cloud-based solutions to large enterprises
4+ years of applicable sales experience
Strong experience with MEDDIC / MEDDPICC sales methodologies
Cybersecurity sales experience preferred
Experience selling application security, DevSecOps, or software development tools is a plus
Demonstrated success in new logo acquisition and complex deal managementStrong communication, negotiation, and executive presence
Self-driven, results-oriented “hunter” mindset
High technical aptitude and experience with Salesforce and CRM tools
