Overview

The Distribution Sales Manager is responsible for all sales activities related to Uniform products with emphasis on growth and profitability in the Midwest Region (IA, IL, IN, KY, MI, MN, MO, OH, and WI). Essential Functions

Accountable for delivering annual sales plan. Responsible for achieving market share growth. Proactively manage dealer network.

Determine and assess partners/dealers Establish trust and a partnership with dealer principles to penetrate and grow the market Develop a territory business plan for key dealers in the Region which includes Forecasting on a short-, mid-, and long-term basis Serve as main point of contact for dealer network Champion LION University to dealer network

Strategically engage and build strong relationships with end users. Deliver end-user sales presentations with and without dealer representation. Administer and facilitate dealer sales representative recruitment process. Conduct classroom and field training of Dealer Sales Reps (TerrAlign, route planning, Quotewerks). Exhibit at local trade shows and industry events. Proactively lead Forecasting and Sales & Operations Planning process for designated Region to include monthly S&OP meetings. Own and facilitate bid/quote response process with all accounts utilizing resources from the collective LION sales organization. Work with Marketing and Product Management on current and new product promotions. Manage and track sales activity in CRM (salesforce.com). Execute the LION prescribed sales process to take targeted opportunities from lead to close. Other duties as assigned. Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field, with accumulated years of experience taken into consideration. Experience within the public safety industry is preferred. Track record of successful sales results and territory growth. Valid driving license and clean driving record. Must be able to deliver impactful and concise presentations and demonstrations to large groups. Strategic thinker. Excellent interpersonal skills-verbal and written communication. Ability to forge long term relationships. Ability to sell a technical product. Technical skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office, basic email and smartphone. Working Conditions
