JP Workman Group has partnered with a trusted leader in the material handling and industrial equipment industry to help them identify an Outside Sales Representative to join their growing team in Toledo!

Our client is a well established, third generation family-owned company with a strong culture built on integrity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Overview As an Outside Sales Representative, you’ll be responsible for growing new business and strengthening existing relationships within your territory. You’ll partner with customers to understand their operations, identify opportunities for improvement, and deliver tailored solutions that enhance efficiency and safety.

What You’ll Do

Develop and manage a portfolio of new and existing accounts to meet or exceed sales and profitability goals.

Prospect and identify new business opportunities through research, networking, and cold calling.

Build long-term, trust-based relationships with customers across manufacturing, warehousing, and distribution industries.

Collaborate with internal teams to develop solutions, deliver accurate quotes, and ensure exceptional customer experience.

Use CRM system to manage your pipeline, forecast activity, and track progress.

Partner with key vendors and suppliers to expand product offerings and strengthen market position.

Stay current on industry trends and maintain strong product knowledge.

What You Bring

Proven success in B2B or industrial sales (3 - 5+ years preferred).

Strong prospecting, presentation, and closing skills with both large and small accounts.

Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.

Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to work independently.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with CRM systems.

A problem-solving mindset and a desire to continuously improve.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the material handling industry or related industrial sales.

Project management or solution-based selling experience.

Familiarity with structured sales processes (e.g., Sandler).

Existing relationships within your assigned territory.
