Role Description This is a full-time, on‑site Account Executive role based in Rochester, NY. The Account Executive will be responsible for developing and maintaining client relationships, generating leads, and meeting sales targets. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include identifying client needs, presenting tailored IT infrastructure solutions, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure successful project delivery. Additionally, the Account Executive will stay current on industry trends and maintain a strong knowledge of IDL’s products and services to effectively communicate value to clients.

Qualifications

Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills for cultivating client relationships and delivering effective sales pitches

Proven track record in sales, account management, and lead generation, preferably in the IT or infrastructure industries

Familiarity with IT infrastructure, including IP voice, data, video networks, network deployment, and cybersecurity

Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and deliver client‑focused solutions

Experience with CRM tools and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented mindset with strong organizational skills

A bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, IT, or related fields is preferred

Experience in government, healthcare, or education sectors is an advantage
