Responsibilities

You’ll be responsible for understanding Orkin’s termite protection services and making strategic recommendations to customers.

You’ll perform 360 inspections—from attics to crawlspaces—to solve problems, build trusted relationships, and ensure homes and families are protected.

Prioritize safety in all responsibilities. Conduct yourself with the utmost professionalism and integrity with customers and coworkers. Serve as an empathetic problem‑solver by utilizing in‑depth training to recommend the best pest solution. Achieve goals through prospecting new business and handling assigned leads. Schedule sales appointments and meet potential customers in their homes to explain how Orkin’s products give peace of mind. Inspect the interior and exterior of the customer’s home—training will be provided. Make recommendations based on inspections and address any questions, explaining the process and setting expectations. Use the iPad to prepare sales agreements and stay organized—training is provided. Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required. No experience required. Valid driver’s license required. Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license/certification if required (company‑paid). Ability to work independently in the field and interact with clients. Work Environment

Safely use ladders within manufacturer weight capacity. Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs on occasion. Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, roofs, etc., including climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Wear personal protective equipment, sometimes requiring an OSHA‑compliant respirator. Work in various weather conditions.
