Role As our
Founding GTM Lead
, you will be the bridge between product and market. You will identify high-value use cases, understand the pain points of enterprise business and data leaders, and personalize Connecty’s message to each decision maker.
This is not bulk outreach – it is high-touch, persona-driven selling. You will run experiments across outreach, partnerships, and content to learn what resonates, refine our motion, and scale what works. Along the way, you will source, pitch, and close our early lighthouse customers, while building the processes and playbooks that enable repeatability.
You will sit shoulder to shoulder with the founders – testing, iterating, and scaling the GTM motion together. Over time, you will grow into a leadership role and build the team around you.
What You’ll Do Run scrappy GTM experiments across outreach, partnerships, content, and community Source, pitch, and close our first lighthouse customers Personalize messaging to data and business leaders based on real use cases and pain points Onboard and support early customers to ensure they see value and stay engaged Write copy, shape our narrative, and launch campaigns that cut through the noise Build repeatable playbooks: sales scripts, onboarding flows, metrics, and GTM ops Partner directly with the founders to shape Connecty’s GTM from zero to one
What We’re Looking For (Must-haves) 5+ years of experience in GTM, sales at a high-growth early stage startup Proven ability to take a product from zero to one in the market Direct experience in the
data and analytics ecosystem
(for example, data infrastructure, BI and analytics tools, cloud data warehouses, observability, or related) Excellent communicator who can tailor messaging to executive buyers and build trust Operator’s mindset: thrives in ambiguity and builds structure from scratch Bay Area based, remote-first with hybrid flexibility for client and team meetings
Nice to Haves Deeper knowledge of AI, ML, or enterprise infrastructure markets (building on your data ecosystem expertise) Strong network among data and AI executives and ecosystem partners (amplifying your ability to open doors) Prior startup founding or very early-stage experience (helpful for scaling from zero to one)
