Are you a passionate designer who cares about the way visitors engage with digital platforms? Do you prefer prototyping over mockups? Do your goals go beyond great graphic design and incorporate UX/UI in your digital design workflow.

Roles and Responsibilities

As a Visual designer you will be applying the principles of design and user interface to websites, mobile apps and software interface, and other digital media.

Develop visual concepts to enhance the user experience and meet the company's goals.

Create low fidelity wireframes of design projects, and present them to members of other departments.

Collaborate with product designers and marketing professionals to launch successful digital projects.

Use prototyping, wireframing, and other techniques to help other team members understand how new concepts are intended to work.

Define basic requirements for new user interfaces.

Improve the user experience by choosing the right combination of design elements for each product.

Knows the fundamentals of HTML and CSS and how it relates to digital design.

Ensure that completed projects have the required functionality.

Skills & Qualifications As a visual designer, you must be able to collaborate effectively with your team members, as well as with marketing, sales professionals, and computer programmers. You also need to have excellent communication skills to ensure that people understand your design concepts. Much like the role of UI and user experience (UX) designers, as a visual designer you will aim to get users from Point A to Point B in a visually intuitive way.

You must be currently enrolled full time or have pursued a Bachelor’s in graphic design, visual communication, product design, related field; or equivalent experience.
