Your New Role Please note that this role is onsite and located in Leesburg. Remote work is not available for this position.

As an Outside Sales Representative, you’ll be the face of Southern Electrical, prospecting new commercial and residential clients while nurturing long‑term relationships.

Generate new leads through cold calls, networking, and referrals

Meet with prospects, assess needs, and pitch tailored service solutions

Deliver accurate estimates, formal proposals, and confident presentations

Own the relationship—follow up, stay connected, and deliver long‑term value

Collaborate with our project managers and field crews to keep promises made

Track all activity and opportunities through our CRM system

Represent Southern Electrical at trade shows and industry events

Stay sharp—keep an eye on competitors, codes, and industry changes

Hiring Expectations

3+ years of sales experience in electrical, MEP, or technical services

Working knowledge of electrical systems and industry terminology

Proficiency in CRM tools like HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar

Confident communicator with strong negotiation and presentation skills

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications

Experience selling service agreements or recurring maintenance packages

Familiarity with NEC codes, permit processes, and estimating software
