What Does a Work Environment Look Like at Vouch? This role is preferably based near one of our offices in SF, NY or Chicago. We require our hybrid office aligned team members to be in the office at least three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) to foster close collaboration and team building.
What You’ll Do
Own and manage a ~$4M annual book of commercial insurance clients, serving as their primary point of contact and trusted advisor
Deliver proactive, timely, and expert service that drives client satisfaction, retention, and long-term partnership
Advise clients on evolving risk profiles, analyze coverage needs, and recommend tailored insurance solutions aligned with their business goals
Engage in retention and renewal efforts by leading the end-to-end renewal process and proactively identifying opportunities to round out accounts
Drive expansion by surfacing upsell and cross-sell opportunities, and coordinating closely with producers to grow your portfolio
Collaborate with the Placements team to secure optimal coverage structures, bring client context to market strategy, and ensure seamless execution
Support new business by partnering with Sales during late-stage deals and onboarding to ensure a smooth client handoff and setup
Contribute to internal process and tooling development by surfacing insights that improve scalability and efficiency
About You
1-2 years of Account Management experience within the Commercial Insurance space, ideally with exposure to technology companies
Active/Current Property and Casualty License
Strong track record of retention & growth of complex Middle Market accounts
Strong preference for prior working experience in the following commercial lines:
Business Owners Package (BOP) and GL/Property
Cyber/Tech E&O
Management Liability (D&O/EPLI, etc.)
Workers’ Compensation
Strong communication and organizational skills
Dependable, coachable, proactive, positive, and detail-oriented with excellent follow-through skills
Able to deal well with ambiguity and maintain composure in complex situations
Strong Sales, Communication, and Marketing skills are critical; must be able to demonstrate success in managing tight time frames and high volumes of work
Nice to Have
Exposure to and passion for early-stage startups and/or high-growth environments
A background in handling Manufacturing and/or Health & Life Science accounts

Compensation Philosophy The base salary for this role varies by location. This role is also eligible for an annual bonus. Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry and are part of our total compensation package, which also includes benefits and other perks. We also include stock options in all compensation packages and believe all Vouch employees should have the opportunity to become owners in the company. Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skill set, location, and business need. The pay range provided is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
