
Asset Management Specialist

This is a 12-month, full-time (40 hours/week), hybrid contract role located in Cupertino, CA or Culver City, CA, with the option to extend after the initial term.
Summary The Creative Infrastructure team within a Product, Design, and Marketing organization is seeking an Asset Management Specialist to support and evolve enterprise-level creative asset workflows. This role sits at the intersection of creative, product, and engineering teams, ensuring digital assets are organized, accessible, and scalable across multiple platforms and business needs.
Our Ideal Candidate
5+ years of experience in asset management, creative operations, or media workflows
Passion for creative infrastructure and systems design, with a strong foundation in workflow development and asset lifecycle management
Proficient in industry‑leading digital asset management (DAM) platforms, with strong organizational and systems‑thinking skills
Familiar with media file formats (static, motion, video) and metadata standards
Skilled in collaborating with product owners, engineers, designers, and cross‑functional creative teams
Able to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities, timelines, and stakeholders
Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail
Comfortable creating documentation, training materials, and presentations for onboarding and enablement
Job Description In this role, you will be responsible for translating creative and design team requirements into scalable asset management solutions. You’ll partner closely with product and engineering stakeholders to support feature development, prioritize enhancements, and resolve system issues.
This includes establishing file and folder taxonomies, configuring workflows within asset management platforms, supporting system integrations, and conducting user acceptance testing. You will also assist with data migration, permissions models, and ongoing platform optimization, while creating documentation and leading training sessions to support adoption and long‑term success.
Education And Experience
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience
Background in creative operations, design, media production, or digital asset management
Experience supporting enterprise or multi‑team creative environments
Additional Requirements This opportunity requires a hybrid onsite schedule in Northern California or Southern California.
Pay and Benefits The pay for this W‑2 position is $56.00 per hour. This position may be eligible for benefits such as PTO, health and dental insurance, and/or 401(k) benefits upon meeting certain length of service and hours requirements.
