The Creative Designer contributes to a variety of creative projects, focusing principally on the graphic elements of client communications and multimedia content. They produce final designs for print and digital media, including emails, posters, fliers, web banners and tiles, postcards, video and more. They will occasionally work on mock-ups, as well. They work with the Creative Director and other designers to define and incorporate the visual identity of the brand and the brand of the clients that we serve. The designer should have graphic design experience and be comfortable using Adobe programs and have a strong willingness to learn new software and concepts. The ideal candidate will be creative, motivated and detail oriented.

Create well-designed communications with client specific content (fliers, html emails, banners, etc.)

Think creatively to brand wellness programs, design logos and build visual identities

Research and report on contemporary design trends (typography, composition, etc.)

Create various creative assets for client web portals for developers

Create mock-ups, as needed

Create website banners and tiles

Create graphics for use in applications

Find and utilize stock photography in communications

Use a critical eye to review and critique a variety of visual communications

Adhere to existing branding guidelines or specific client branding guidelines

Create new template designs for various communications, such as fliers and emails

Create social media content (infographics and other creative content)

Create and edit video communications

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: Required:

A bachelor’s degree in design or a related field

A minimum of 1-2 years experience in graphic design

Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign)

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong attention to detail

Knowledge of typography

Strong ability to problem solve and work independently as well as within a team

HTML (including HTML5) and CSS

Ability to balance multiple client communications and projects at a time
