Job Description
Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for a variety of commercial, education, industrial, health care, and public works/municipal projects Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate pricing Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors during preconstruction Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing Manage and grow a high-performing estimating and preconstruction team Evaluate project risks and opportunities to support strategic decision-making Assist in bid strategy development and presentation to clients Maintain historical cost data and contribute to continuous improvement of estimating processes MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field +/- 7-15 years of estimating experience General Contracting background Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and market pricing Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., ProEst, Sage Estimating, or similar) Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills Strong subcontractor network in the local market Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines simultaneously What's on Offer
