Work Schedule: Standard (Mon-Fri) Environmental Conditions: Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance, Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards, Laboratory Setting, Office, Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.) Job Description: Join our team as a Lead Service Support Representative at Thermo Fisher Scientific, where you'll coordinate essential laboratory services for scientific research. In this key role, you'll serve as the primary liaison between our customers, service vendors, and internal teams, ensuring effective delivery of critical laboratory support services. You'll manage work order processing, coordinate service scheduling, maintain accurate asset records, and implement improvement initiatives. Requirements: 4+ years of experience in laboratory operations or customer service environment Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and Outlook Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Excellence in customer service and relationship management Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently and proactively resolve issues Knowledge of laboratory equipment and operations preferred Physical ability to lift, push and pull up to 40 pounds Willingness to wear required PPE (lab coats, safety glasses, etc.) Ability to stand/walk for extended periods Strong attention to detail and data accuracy Experience with inventory management and asset tracking Commitment to safety protocols and regulatory compliance Demonstrated problem-solving abilities Ability to escort vendors and coordinate service activities Support company values of Integrity, Intensity, Innovation, and Involvement Compensation and Benefits: The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in Massachusetts is $23.04$34.56. This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
