We are currently hiring multiple Automotive Sales Consultants to join our fun, friendly, and fast-paced team at Sam Leman CJDR Bloomington. Build your business on customer satisfaction by delivering an exceptional buying experience Determine each customer's vehicle needs through thoughtful questions and active listening Demonstrate vehicles, including test drives Deliver vehicles and ensure customers understand features, warranties, and required paperwork Communicate regularly with the Sales Manager regarding goals, activities, and performance Stay up to date on incoming inventory, vehicle features, and accessories Coordinate with the service department and body shop to ensure vehicles are properly reconditioned and delivered on schedule Attend dealership and manufacturer training and sales meetings Maintain prospect development and owner follow-up systems to encourage repeat and referral business Review and analyze performance daily, weekly, monthly, and annually to improve effectiveness Understand automotive terminology and stay current on technology and product changes Comply with all federal, state, and local laws governing retail auto sales Introduce customers to service department personnel to reinforce long-term service relationships Follow all company safety policies and immediately report any accidents Qualifications and Skills
Automotive sales experience is not required A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are required Previous sales or customer-facing experience preferred, but not required Individuals from customer service, account executive, financial services, mortgage, hospitality, and restaurant industries often excel in this role High-energy, outgoing individuals with strong verbal communication skills succeed in this position What We Offer
