Golf Season Positions Available

The City of Edina/Braemar Golf Course is seeking applications for various part-time positions for the 2026 golf season. Hours vary by position and may include evenings, weekends and holidays. Salary varies by position. Read through job descriptions and supplemental information below for the details regarding each position. The golf season typically runs from April 1 through October 31. Available positions: Guest Services Outside Services (On Course Attendant, Player's Services and Driving Range Attendant) Course & Grounds Maintenance Positions will remain open until fill, so you are encouraged to apply early. Essential functions: Guest Services:

Employees are responsible for providing a welcoming atmosphere to all golf course patrons in either the Championship Course Golf Shop or the Academy 9 and Driving Range Golf Shop. Responsibilities include greeting and assisting guests, operating a POS system, answering phones, scheduling tee times, assisting with merchandise sales and maintaining building cleanliness. The hourly wage range is $15.03-$15.75. Outside Services:

The On Course Attendant position is responsible for directing players to the tee and making sure they start on time, monitoring pace of play and assisting golfers on the course as needed. The hourly wage range is $14.01-$15.03. The Player's Services position is responsible for staging, cleaning and maintaining the fleet of golf carts for guests. The hourly wage range is $14.01-$15.03. The Driving Range Attendant responsibilities include clearing buckets from driving range bays, washing range balls, driving the range picker, starting golfers on the Academy 9 course and performing light maintenance. The hourly wage range is $14.01-$15.03. Maintenance (Grounds):

Grounds Maintenance staff safely operate a variety of tools, machinery and equipment to perform maintenance duties on the golf course and grounds. Staff perform daily maintenance tasks and golf course set up to include (but not limited to) mowing, raking bunkers and cleaning equipment. Additional work may include weed whipping and laying sod. The hourly wage range is $16.21 -$19.31. Qualifications vary by position, but these positions require excellent customer service, be able to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and have strong communication skills and be self-motivated. Supplemental information: Guest Services:

Candidate must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays. Approximately 15-40 hours per week. Position requires some lifting. Prior customer service experience preferred. Outside Services:

Candidate must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays. Approximately 10-40 hours per week. Position requires lifting 20 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally. Candidates with a driver's license preferred (employees are frequently driving golf carts.) Course and Grounds Maintenance:

Candidate must be available to work weekends and holidays. Approximately 15-40 hours per week. Position requires lifting 20 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally. Candidates must be 18 years or older and possess a valid driver's license. Working conditions: Guest Services:

The position is performed primarily indoors within temperature-controlled environment. Outside Services:

The position is performed primarily outdoors with exposure to inclement weather, outdoor allergens including insects and wildlife, slippery surfaces and uneven ground. Course & Ground Maintenance:

The position is performed primarily outdoors with exposure to inclement weather, outdoor allergens including insects and wildlife, slippery surfaces, uneven ground, noise generated from equipment operation. Use of various personal protective equipment (PPE) for identified hazards. Position requires occasional standing/walking, pushing/pulling, bending/kneeling/squatting, grasp and reach for routine assigned tasks.
