Golf Starter & Ranger Volunteer
As a Golf Starter & Ranger volunteer, you are donating your time to help deliver a high-quality golf experience for our customers at Chomonix Golf Course. The primary responsibilities of this position are to deliver excellent customer service and ensure golf course rules and regulations are observed. This volunteer opportunity is located at Chomonix Golf Course, 700 Aqua Lane Lino Lakes, MN 55014. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Maintaining starting sheet and assist golfers with checking in to the first tee box and ensuring adequate spacing and pace of play. Monitor guests on the golf course and range to maintain efficient play and ensure golf course rules and regulations are observed. Deliver excellent customer service, including greeting guests, answering questions, and ensuring supplies and assistance are always available. Advise guests on golf course safety, rules, and play etiquette. Act as a liaison between golf course users, clubhouse staff, and management. Manage emergency situations or conflicts if they arise. Qualifications and Requirements: Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Needed: Must be at least 16 years of age by date of application. Successfully pass a criminal history background check. Selection Process: It is important that your application show all the relevant education and experience you possess. Pre-employment Requirements: Anoka County has determined that successfully passing a pre-employment criminal/driving background check, drug screen, and DOT physical, and/or other qualifications checks may be necessary for certain positions. Applicants who do not sign the informed consent form will not be further considered for the position.
