
Ticket Sales Intern
Sonoma Raceway is looking for Ticket Services Interns for the 2026 event season. The intern will gain experience in all aspects of the Ticketing Department from sales, customer service, operations, logistics, and database management on multiple platforms. The Ticket Sales Intern is a seasonal, as need position. Responsibilities: Develop a strong understanding of all ticket department processes Acquire knowledge of the effect ticket sales has on sponsorship and marketing objectives and the importance of cross-departmental communication and coordination Begin to develop an understanding of consumer buying patterns related to communication timelines and product purchases The increasing role of data collection and analytics Facilitate ticket sales from phone orders and walk-in customers Assist patrons with inquiries about our events and various products Contribute to the printing, production and distribution of tickets and collateral Assist with invoicing and accounts receivable processing Reconcile daily personal operator receipts Staff event positions and assist with event-specific activities as determined by event Assist with VIP guest needs (Garage Tours, golf cart pick-ups/drop-offs) Assist with fulfillment of Guest Recognition program activities Be available to assist with other non-specific responsibilities before, during and after events Requirements: Must be currently pursuing an undergraduate degree; business administration or sports management preferred The ideal candidate will be energetic, outgoing, well organized, professional, able to handle multiple tasks and deliver outstanding service Must work well in a fast-paced environment Basic computer skills are required, including Microsoft Office Pay Rate: $20/hr The above description denotes some of the specific characteristics that are necessary to perform the principal functions of the job and are not intended to be a description of all work requirements that may be inherent in the position.
