Epoxy Beading Operator (2nd Shift)

Summit Anaheim currently has an open position for Epoxy Beading Operator (2nd shift). Summit Interconnect is a manufacturer of advanced technology printed circuit boards with a specific focus on complex rigid and rigid-flex product with unique expertise in RF/Microwave applications. Position Summary:

Training will include the application of epoxy beading materials, proper mixing techniques, curing times and subsequent inspection of the completed work. Summit's Traveler, concerning work order and tool numbers. Reading/understanding of the traveler instructions and drawing requirements. After work order requirements are complete, signing travelers, writing down material lot and batch numbers and moving parts to the next step in the process. Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have a minimum of one (1) year in the printed circuit board industry and must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Responsibilities: Inspection of the rigid flex transition zone for cleanliness prior to bead application. Mix the beading components with the proper ratio as defined by drawing spec or data sheets. Applying the mixed beading material using correct diameter syringe (defined by dwf or default) and pump. Curing of the beading material. Inspection after the curing process for bubbles, voids and general assurance of quality of work performed. Performs other department or company-related tasks at the direction of the Production Manager. Required Skills: Understanding of industry standards and appropriate applications. Ability to effectively follow company systems and procedures. Strong knowledge in military and rigid flex boards. Basic mathematical and reasoning ability required. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum one (1) year industry experience. Physical Demands: The position requires the individual to perform for the entire shift while sitting and walking to ovens. Must be able to lift 20 lbs. Must have steady hands. Must have very good concentration, must be able to remain focused with minor interruptions.
