DGM seeks a driven, self-starting sales professional who would: Cultivate existing business opportunities by promoting DGM's custom packing, crating, and regulatory compliance services for existing and prospective clients Build and maintain strong client relationships with companies requiring packing solutions for both dangerous and non-dangerous goods Follow up on leads, delivering impactful sales presentations, and driving revenue growthparticularly within the custom packing, crating, logistics, and dangerous goods compliance services industry Conduct onsite client visits and consultations as requested by customer Identifying customer needs related to safe packing, hazmat compliance, In-Transit Warehousing and Distribution Solutions, documentation standards, and cargo readiness for domestic and international transport KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage a pipeline of existing business opportunities and follow up on new business opportunities for DGM's crating and packing services Create persuasive proposals and engaging presentations tailored to client needs as required by client requests Collaborate with internal teams (operations, compliance, customer service) to ensure successful project execution Maintain and strengthen client relationships to encourage long-term partnerships Track and analyze sales performance using Dynamic Business Central and other CRM tools Support marketing initiatives and partner with internal teams on strategic outreach Educate clients on service terminology, features and benefits Manage client accounts effectively, ensuring compliance with company policies and high levels of client satisfaction Provide support to other Business Development team members as needed QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) 3+ years of inside sales experience (industrial packing, crating, cargo services, or logistics support preferred) Strong understanding of custom crating, packing for transit, or related technical services Strong sales track record and customer service orientation Proficient in MS Office; comfortable with CRM and proposal tools Willingness to travel as needed to local customer sites Experience of hazardous materials/dangerous goods regulations is a strong plus SKILLS AND ABILITIES NEEDED Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills Strategic thinker with strong planning and organizational abilities Capable of managing multiple complex projects simultaneously High attention to detail and ability to close deals IDEAL CANDIDATE TRAITS Self-motivated and proactive Goal-oriented and driven by results Team player with leadership potential Energetic and adaptable to a dynamic industry DIRECT REPORTS This position has no direct reports. WORK ENVIRONMENT AND SAFETY EXPECTATIONS Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation in accordance with company housekeeping and safety standards. Follow written work instructions/SOPs and general safety protocols at all times. Promptly report any safety, security, or quality concerns to your manager or the Safety Department. Work is primarily performed in a climate-controlled office (cubicle/open or private office) with standard heating/air conditioning. Typical office conditions include prolonged computer use, normal conversation-level noise, and artificial lighting. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is not required for normal office duties; however, appropriate PPE must be worn when entering designated warehouse or operational areas for business purposes. Occasional, brief access to warehouse or operational areas may be required (e.g., to deliver or retrieve documents); employees must follow all posted signage and safety rules when entering these areas. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Frequent typing and data entry; manual dexterity to operate a computer, mouse, and keyboard effectively. Prolonged sitting with occasional standing/walking; occasional bending/reaching within the office. Lift/carry up to 10 lbs occasionally (files, office supplies, small packages). Visual acuity sufficient to read computer screens, documents, and spreadsheets. Clear hearing and speech for in-person, phone, and virtual communications. Ability to operate standard office equipment (phone, copier, scanner, printer, fax, calculator). Occasional walking through warehouse/operational areas, observing all safety protocols and PPE requirements posted for those areas. WORK SCHEDULE Standard schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with flexibility for occasional Saturdays, overtime, or adjusted hours as needed to meet operational demands.
